About Ubiq
We are a unique home-based training company based in East Dulwich, London, UK. Rather than teaching in a formal office environment, our approach is to deliver training in a comfortable room with an adjoining lounge area, which makes our customers feel relaxed and at ease, greatly facilitating the learning process.
About our courses
We design our own training courses based on real-world projects, covering the most important skills and techniques you will need in your work. We employ expert trainers who are industry professionals with proven teaching skills. See our Trainers page for more details.
Training courses include certification, free technical support, a manual and supporting materials and a really fantastic home-cooked lunch.
Small groups for a better learning experience
At Ubiq, we train no more than four people in a group. Small group sizes allow for a good deal of personal attention and plenty of opportunity for delegates to ask questions.
On-site and tailored training
We can deliver standard and tailored courses at your own premises. This is often a cost-effective way of purchasing training for larger numbers of people. We are skilled in presenting to both small and large groups. Ubiq is based in South London, but we are happy to travel to your chosen venue anywhere in the UK or abroad.
Charities and schools
We offer a 10% discount for charities and educational establishments. We also run DiDA courses for teachers. Please contact us for details of these courses.

Illustrator training
Illustrator Introduction
Illustrator is a 'must have' skill for people in the creative industries. This course is aimed at new users or those who already have a little experience, and will teach you how to use Illustrator for the production of a wide range of graphical elements. From designing logos through to creating repeating patterns and tracing images, we concentrate on essential drawing and production techniques, taking full advantage of Illustrator's wide range of tools and features. CSS Training
Creating web pages with CSS
Aimed at newcomers to Cascading Stylesheets, or at those with some basic experience, this CSS training course covers
the topic comprehensively, concentrating on creating page layouts without resorting to tables (the old fashioned way).
The course is based around real-world projects which demonstrate practical
applications of CSS and show you how to develop solid strategies
for creating quick, accessible and well-optimised web pages.
Dreamweaver training
Dreamweaver Introduction
Aimed at anyone who needs to build and/or maintain web content, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to web development with Dreamweaver. Basing the course on real-world site building projects, we show you how to use Dreamweaver’s powerful tools and user-friendly features to quickly develop and maintain sophisticated web sites. This course also includes in-depth coverage of Cascading Stylesheets (CSS).

Dreamweaver CS3 Advanced
Our two-day advanced Dreamweaver course covers SPRY, as well as CSS page layouts, tips and tricks with Templates and more. We will show you how to use SPRY widgets and coding techniques to create collapsible panels, validate form elements, apply effects and work with XML data to create a photo album.
