Our trainers are all experts in their fields. They work in the industry as creatives and developers, and have proven teaching as well as technical skills.
John delivers our Javascript and jQuery courses, and has extensive experience as a freelance developer and trainer. He specialises in programming for interactive projects with clients such as Oxford University Press and The Guardian. He has also worked as a lecturer on the MA in Interactive Media course at Oxford Brookes University. John's main intention as a trainer is to help designers make the transition into programming.
Nigel French has more than 15 years experience as a graphic designer and graphic design educator. He is the former director of the graphic design program at University of California, Berkeley Extension and has taught various aspects of graphic design in colleges. An Adobe Certified Expert and Certified Instructor, he is author of InDesign Type: Professional Typography with Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop Unmasked: The Art and Science of Selections, Layers, and Paths, as well as an author for the Lynda.com online training library. Paul is a director of the company, and has been developing print, multimedia and web content for over 20 years. Paul is an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI), and holds current Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) status for both Photoshop and Illustrator. As our lead trainer, he delivers courses in CSS, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash. Paul is also responsible for designing and building this site (nice comments only please).
Lisa runs our PHP/MySQL and Drupal courses. She has more than 15 years experience in the fields of media production, computing and emerging technologies. Most recently she has been working as a specialist in web application development with PHP/MySQL and with the open source content management system Drupal. She has worked as a lecturer at Ravensbourne College of Design and Technology on their Interactive Media BA and Networked Media Environments MA courses teaching web application development with PHP/MySQL. Lisa very much enjoys introducing technologies and programming skills to people from different disciplines.
Greg is a London based photographer and artist. He has a Masters in Photography from the Royal College of Art and exhibits his photography. He is also an experienced tutor with a teaching qualification. Greg has worked on a wide range of projects: producing screen and web graphics, publications, and large scale photographic prints for exhibition. He has been training people in the use of Photoshop for five years and is an Adobe Certified Expert. Greg devised and runs our Photoshop for Photographers courses.
